No glug glug glug noises, and even at the top fan speed the motor makes just a gentle whir. Best feature is eco mode which keeps the unit quiet. Since i am a very light sleeper i typically don't let it run all night.

This is our third vornado humidifier and we love it. An evaporative humidifier isn't as quiet as an ultrasonic, but it's better at humidifying a larger space with poor air circulation.

When the filters get hard and crunchy, depending on your water, it's time to change them. I wish the wick was circular like honeywell's, so that it was easier to place and had more surface area to evaporate more water.

It does as advertised in a medium-sized bedroom, in a dry climate. Our humidity is frequently in the single digits in winter, and i am naturally very dry skinned. Good job on humidity.

The fan on this unit is very loud. At 3 am, it’s like looking at the neon sigh from some depressing, run down hotel room in a noir movie. There's a reason this model has no decibel rating in the description!

The dimming light sensor is either defective or not working properly. There should be a better dimmer or an adjustable dimmer.
