Pros

It definitely is bulletproof, but also much louder than my other vornado. Perhaps because the housing / cowl exposes more of the interior parts. The black ones are way quieter and are perfect for the living room where you watch tv.

Superior quality is evident as soon as you unbox. High quality durable and built to last.

This little fan pushes a ton of air. Very powerful for a smaller sized fan. I've not found the larger size inconvenient at all in my bedroom.

Fan can circulate air throughout an air-conditioned home. Works with any type of air conditioner. Can also be used to circulate cold air from outside. Can be used by anyone who wants to use it for air-cools.

Fan helps keep audio, imaging and computer equipment cool for exterior/field work. Outdoors they're great. Think it would handle dirt or outdoors well.

Cons

The $15 12 honeywell fan blows harder. That is unless it's on the highest and loudest setting. Buy something else or make a swamp cooler with a cheaper fan.

Fan looks nice and is sturdy but thats about it. Piece of garbage. More like an oversized desk/table fan.
