No remote control the instructions do refer to one so there may be a up graded model

The booklet does say that this fan if its if fact actually referring to the flippi v10 compact cannot be taken apart to clean

When canned air toothbrush and qtips dont work to clean the fan i just throw out or put it in my garage to keep the moisture down rather than think of dust mites blowing in my face
