Occasionally the fan has a bit of vibration. A bit of tapping and movement usually eliminates any rattle. A little noisy at highest speed but reasonable at the lower settings.

The fan is operable with a remote control. Very slick controls, and a nice small remote. There is a light which brightens when the controls on top are touched.

If it's warm and you find no need for a/c this is prefect. It cools down the room but even better it keeps the air circulating, quietly so it never gets stuffy. It's powerful, and cools any room down in a few minutes.

Even at the lowest speed it sounds like there is a cricket stuck in the fan. It has a rattle that is bothersome.

This unit is ridiculously loud and not worth the $100 price. Extreme lack of consistency between units. No remote in the box at all. In a good unit it is dead silent.
