Pros & Cons
Pros
Unit is quiet and good for evacuating kitty box smells. The fans move a baffle inside depending on exhausting or intaking air. This slim, super quiet fan moves a lot of air in or out, all without glomming up the window opening.
Installation is good in window but rubber side pads somewhat inadequate. Does just fine with some duct tape to seal the nooks and crannies. If you have shutters with the smaller slates i am confident your shutters will close.
It does a good job of keeping the room cool, cycling adequate air in/out.
The fan has a reversible air flow feature. Alexa integration is great. I bought the fan mainly because of the exhaust future.
Cons
There is a large gap underneath the cylindrical center fan where you can see outside clearly, and can feel when a light breeze blows through. The fan is a bit loud as time goes on and it accumulates dust inside the fan blades from use. I hesitate to b... Read More
The foam blocks have scuffs from where the original purchaser had attempted to install into their window. The pieces of foam you have to balance & prop on the sides is a joke.
Highlights
Quality
It provides strong performance, quiet operation, and convenient remote control features.
Easy to install, nice foam to fill the gaps.
The design is sleek and modern and doesn't require the window to be raised a lot at all.
I bought this because the air quality in the apartment was abysmal and had unhealthy levels of co2 reaching over 1000ppm.
Price
With the price of everything so high, right now, i want to feel comfortable, but still have a few dollars left over.

This fan has already paid for itself.
I liked the fact that it was black but think its overpriced.
Shipping
The only cavet was being delivered to the wrong apartment and sitting outside for 4 days because the tenant was out of town.
Competitiveness
I have a 'smart' electric meter, and my electric company has an app, that allows me to see my energy use, and also allows me co... Read More
Also, it's not loud as many other window fans on the market.
The cost of running these fans in comparison to an ac is a night and day differece.

Caveat the spacers meant to close gaps around the exhaust fan are hard plastic and completely useless for sealing the window
