Pros

It works fantastic and is aesthetically pleasing in the room. It looks awesome, functions awesome, has all sorts of features, including hot steam!

The vornado humidifier is well build and comes with a 5 year warranty. I quit using my last humidifier which was a little smaller last year because i couldn't get replacement cartridges.

Vornado floor fan is quiet, but still has sound. When it intakes water it is a little bit noisy at first but you get use to it after a few nights. I feel like that would help keep the humidity out of the fan cavity. The fan is a nice addition to help ... Read More

An appropriate amount of humidity can make your home more comfortable, and reduce the need for your furnace to continually replenish indoor heat. If you use a humidifier nightly, this one is definitely worth the investment.

Cons

The base part of the humidifier leaks, causing water to pour out of the base and onto the carpet. It's ok as a house humidifier, but if you need it in the bedroom to have humidity - look elsewhere.

There's no click or latch and there's no way to know if the lid is caught securely. On occasion, after repeated tries activating the power button it will occasionally stay on for a few minutes then shuts off. The * don't work for squat.

I was very happy about eco friendly packaging instead of using styrofoam.

Took out of the packaging, read instructions, filled with water, and plugged it in -- that's all there is to it.

Unobtrusive, looks as if it would perfectly fit any home without distorting the look of the homes interior.

Compared to other models/manufacturers i have tried, i highly recommend this one.

The vornado makes a much bigger difference in the humidity levels and i haven't woken up with a bloody nose yet this winter.
