Ill take the improved heat generation over quiet personally but if you are using it in a shared space or if you are someone who has to be on a lot of meetings you may want to find a quieter unit

I have this off the ground and away from the walls and other surfaces just to prevent the chance of fire though this doesnt seem to allow it to ramp up that high heat wise which is good

As well when you turn the heater off it blows cold for 20 seconds to make sure it isnt too hot
