I have two of these and am so glad i found this product.
Great little fan, would be perfect for kids room with the nylon blades.
Good quality - i own several fans from vornado, and have had no issues.
Needless to say i was pleasantly surprised by the etl listing and fuse.

S compared to all the other small fans for the desk this is the best one out there and not to mention a reputable brand.
I was already familiar with vornado's larger air circulation products, that are excellent.
It is silent at the lower setting and nearly so at the higher setting.

The blades are quite harmless just flapping against the fingers

There’s not much risk of shock because the fan body is plastic

Just make sure that when you set it up you have the plane of the fan blades parallel to whatever the fan is sitting on so they dont hit anything

The motor will be just as quiet but the altered wind resistance caused by the damage to the blade will cause a tiny bit of extra sound
