Pros & Cons

Pros

The diamondbacks are easy on the eyes with good color and clarity, very similar to my brunton eternas 15x50. The lens looks very clear and the quality feels very good. I am experienced with binoculars for nature, birding and astronomy purposes. Curren...  Read More

Cons

My $80 old minolta binocs are far superior than the performance of the vortex pair. Optical shadowing degrades the whole experience.

Quality

Best quality optic i’ve owned for bow hunting.

These are truly a high quality product.

I took them out on three 12 hour hunting trips and no issues even with sweat and dirt all over the lens and unit.

I can see object as close as 10ft clearly, and stong 10 power optics.

Price

For the price they are pretty awesome.

A fantastic set of glass for the price.

I doubt that for $149 anything else out there can come close.

I then bought the vortex 10x28's on sale during black friday week.

Shipping

Thanks amazon for being the seller no stores anywhere near me had these.

Packaging/appearance

I was just a little dissapointed that they didn't come with the chest bag to carry them, but definitely happy with this purchase.

Competitiveness

I also own the mavin 10x28 c2 binoculars, which are a bit more expensive, and i will compare the vortex to these.

The diamondbacks are easy on the eyes with good color and clarity, very similar to my brunton eternas 15x50.

If you have a bit more money to play with, you might consider the mavin instead.

I have compared to my old bushnell, and kmart made in japan binoculars which are more than 2 decades old.
