Pros
It works great and was easy to install - once i had all my ducks in a row. Two caveats to keep in mind. everything you need to know is in the name vortex. No regrets. Love them. Will never regret it.
Well built, sturdy. The craftsmanship is spot on. The lock down is more heavy duty then most. From past experience with vortex, i know that i have a durable product.

The finish on the mount is excellent. The sport mount is more than enough. Utilizing this mount (cvp-30) with a viper pst 2.
Cons
The mount screw knobs are not very secure. The result is the same on every pew pew i've put it on. Requested a return.

Quality
The scope mount came fast and it is a vortex product, so quality is a given.
Quality is very good and lock down is more heavy duty then most.
Scope came with “2 high ring mounts” but sadly with the full length picatinny rail the rings were not high enough.
Everything seemed to tighten up just right when following the instruction with the appropriate wrench.
Price
My only complaint is that for this price i wish it didn't weigh as much.
Not hard, but it cost an extra $30 or so.
Packaging/appearance
I contacted vortex and got the correct specification and they said that they would have the packaging information corrected.
Competitiveness
Love it on my vortex strikeeagle gen2 1-8x24 scope.

In my case that meant replacing the factory scope bases with an aftermarket rail

The only reason i gave it one less star was that i was sent a mount that had a small nick and one of the screws was unable to set all the way down

Havent installed it or my scope yet but looks good item package was alittle damaged but product looked unaffected
