Pros

The adjustment lever is big enough to move easily, but not obtrusive. Throw lever makes transitioning very smooth and easy.

I bet you can hunt on moonlight, turrets tracking is top notch. There are a few limitations you need to understand.

The reticle is bright and accurate. It can be used either with the illumination or without it. The vortex reticle design is slightly better than the bushnell.

X visibility is imo what sets it apart from its competition. The variable zoom makes it nice for targets al all ranges. The 1x is a true 1x which is important for an ar configuration.

Seller took a while to ship though, and did not offer an exchange.

Packaging/appearance

1st thing is this item came in well packaged both from amazon and vortex.

Competitiveness

I am extremely impressed and will likely be a repeat consumer of vortex optics in the future.

I like this strike eagle much, much better and it was less than $250.

Bottom line, you can get a better scope, and you can get a cheaper scope, but i do not believe you can get a better scope for l...  Read More
