They seem well made and provide a nice crisp image. Whether they'll last thirty years remains to be seen. It is much better than the toy binocular i bought before.

I also compared these in the field to the zeiss conquest hd and easily liked the vipers.
Put this up against the competitors no question better clarity at distances , have yet to try in low light conditions.
Lightweight a bit compared to many quality name brand rubber armored full size 8x42 binoculars.
The celestron's were goodand these are better.

The quality of viewing of objects through the binoculars is best ive ever seen but the eye piece arrived with a slit that prohibits the adding of a connective cord
