This is my first ffp optic and it won't be my last. Vortex customer service is the best customer service i have experienced for any product. Lifetime unlimited warranty.

One click and you are illuminated. Illumination is powerful but i have noticed a slight bleed when it’s on 10 power and 25x zoom.

Very audible and distinct clicks on the elevation and windage turrets. Turrets track true and parallax dial is very smooth. The turrets are nicer and the illuminated reticle is also great!

Glass is as clear and bright as my uso & leup’s and the turret tracking is exceptional.

I have done photography in the past, and i know that anything with moving glass elements should be packaged securely/firmly.

The scope tube on the viper seems much thicker than the venom, and the viper is a heavier scope.
