Pros

X offers good magnification suitable for most common uses but is much more stable. Wide angle (36mm) makes it easier to hold steady for viewing. Good to 25yds all ammo and 50yds for ammo above 22cal.

Optical clarity is good with appropriate image brightness at most light levels. nice view & grip.

The clarity seems as good as my leica binoculars. Easy to grip with adjustable eyecup for when wearing glasses. Great for anyone who wears glasses and has a very hard time using binoculars. Great value for money at less than $100 per bt.

Love the clarity, ease of use and durable construction.

Well made and the optics are great.

The mount point is poorly located and your fingers keep hitting it's hard edges.

It is not an internally focusing optic - you can see the ocular lens slide back and forth as the focus ring is turned.

Price

For the price, it’s a great value.

For the price i paid, it was a very good surprise.

Buy it on sale if you want one one.

It isn't the junk you see advertised for much lower prices.

Note: the lanyard is right out of a cracker jack box .

Also came with a lens cleaning cloth and a lanyard.

Competitiveness

Reasonably priced unit compared to other brands; and, it has a built in eye cup extender aiding when wearing glasses.

My first comparison was late in the day near dusk and and the 10x36 had a noticeably better image.

Compared to promo and cheap chinese optics, there is no comparison.

I hardly ever order things to compare and send one back but the 8x will be getting returned this time round.
