Pros & Cons
Pros
It flips to the left which just places it in the way unless you are a lefty. Easy to manipulate. Does the job of magnifiers costing twice as much.
Cons
The mount is so loose that in it's locked position the magnifier is sagging and preventing the dot of my sight from centering. Not recommended for serious user.
Highlights
Quality
Vortex product are of the highest quality glad i found this on amazon
Great quality, clear sight picture and extremely easy to attach/detach and use on my ar.
Image is very sharp even at 100 yards.
If it ever breaks they will replace and/or fix it for you.
Price
Good price and exactly what i needed
For the price, this is an excellent magnifier.
For the price it's hard to beat the quality of the glass and the construction of the housing and mount.
Not a big deal, but it wasn't very high quality- the eye relief is very short.
Packaging/appearance
Came as described, happy with the performance.
My only gripes so far are as follows:- poor packaging.
Competitiveness
That said, this magnifier has the same screw pattern as the g33, so any mount for that will work with the vortex.
The things you lose out on compared to something like a g33 is exposed adjustment turrets and a quick detach mount.
