Other spouts are slow cause you to spill all over the place or dont last very long if its and electric pump

They could have done better there and used harder plastic and had the threads mesh tighter on the vent cap

Other jugs of this style ive gotten have a harder plastic vent cap thats easier to keep sealed

It works well when a car is almost full to close the vent cap and let it slowly gurgle back into the tank through the hose as this prevents it from overflowing much slower than having the vent cap open though

This wouldnt work well for filling something small like a chainsaw or weed wacker as it comes out too fast it would fill the tank and spill before you had a chance to react
