Pros
Easy to use, produces ice quickly with no smell that normal ice would typically absorb from your freezer. Good to use when your fridge does not have an icemaker. Allows us to free up the space in the freezer, where you would place the ice cube trays.
Cons
The white part that scoops the ice into the bin no longer works. The ice immediately melts when it hits liquid.
About 2 months in, using it maybe 3 or 4 times a week, i have to randomly unplug it and restart it to get it to work. As the other reviewers say, it only lasts a year. Lasted 2 years.
