I dont know if the battery for the hand set fell out or wasnt in the box to begin with so i had to replace the battery right off the bat

We also did not like the voice mail supplied from the phone provider had to pick up the phone and listen to see if there were messages and was not feasible to listen to the messages

So we discontinued the voicemail service and use this phones voice mail system
