Pros

My cable provider includes a landline as part of their package. I like to have a functioning landline in case i am having problems with my cell phone. My gmail is 88 yrs and it's her everyday use.

Vtech #1 silver (2) handsets. This phone has * that light up, handset that you can put on speaker and nice clear reception. These are lighter weight and you might find it hard to find a conventional ring tone.

Cons

Vtech assistance is non existent. The audio blows out the earpiece speaker. Gets disconnected constantly, caused so much damage for my business, bad to have disconnected phone.
