When on top volume you can hear the slightest bit of static but nothing major

You gotta keep the baby monitor plugged in and the parent unit only stays charged for a short amount of time if not plugged up

The sound quality is amazingfantastic and if i’m watching a movie i’ll turn the sound down because this monitor is always in vox mode however if mom starts talking or needs me it will make a loud beep to let me know that something is going on in her room sound clarity is excellent and if you have a parent that needs looked after get this walkietalkies tend to confuse her with all the buttons plus you also pick up all kinds of outside interference and this really gets her confused
