It has an optional flash the power turns off after 5mins of not being used it has two manual viewfinders like looking through binoculars but the display screen is easier to use

The memory can be expanded with a micro sd card i prefer plugging it in to my laptop every once in a while with the usb cable to download the pics to a folder and delete them off the internal memory without an sd card the camera holds 200 images when using the front camera lots more when using the 0

When taking pictures you have to hold it still until the hand has stopped showing on screen it takes about 3 seconds youll have to explain this to your child or youll get a lot of blurred pictures
