The record and playback option is cool. One of my friends is a pro-musician who had done tours and recorded.

The preset songs are kind of to a weird beat (even to me) so they are almost impossible to sing along to, yet alone try to play along. The recorded voice is horrible - bears little similarity to the actual voice. Second one, no sound at all.

It's a cool toy if your kid doesn't care about microphone working after playing with it a dozen times. Confuses the toddler age child. I would highly suggest purchasing another brand. Nobody wants to use it, especially the toddler.
