Pros

There's a thermostat which is nice because the temperature is different in his room. It has a beep if the temp rises or drops out of your preset temps. The battery life seems to be fine as well.

As the sun rises and the room lightens up, the day vision shows full color. It's like watching a ghost adventures without the slight green tint. The nightvision is perfect.

The monitor itself is great for what i was needing — an affordable, decent monitor for my toddler's room. The parent unit is a great size and very tough. It has a little kick stand that is very sturdy!

Cons

The camera is really hard to mount to the wall where you can see the whole crib. The image quality is very nice during the day, but the night vision is poor, and the quality decreases over farther distances. This is not accurate, but it is pointless i... Read More

Additionally infuriating is that the battery life has steadily declined over the year or so that i have used it. It’s extremely inconvenient for me to have to keep it plugged in at all times!

The sound projection is so loud through the parent unit that you often can't hear baby cry over it. This monitor is also very loud/static even on the lowest setting this doubles as a white noise machine. There is no way for me to hear her as we live i... Read More

The "stand" that it is supposed to sit upright with is just a bump out from the monitor and does not work well.
