I picked this router up at another online retailer for $50 on the right rebate day.
Shipping
Arrived quickly and was much better than the linksys i was going to use in the meantime.
The other one arrived earlier so i set it up to get me through a few days of working from home.
Competitiveness
My router is essentially the same thing as the much more expensive asus rt-ac66u, but with less memory.

Stock firmwarei spent about 5minutes poking around in the stock firmware before flashing to tomato

Tomato flashing processno feverish searching the internet for firmware “that will work” with your router simply go to the shibby download page find the latest version for your router download the compressed file and unzip it
