Pros

The cintiq pro 24 is the best digital drawing/painting tool out there. The quality of line and effortlessness of drawing on this tablet is unparalleled. It's expensive, but it makes sense for a professional illustrator.

The experience using the cintiq blows them away. It's long-lasting, durable, and offers a beautiful 4k display with high color fidelity. Apple is good too, but they still use battery inside their pen.

They glow with backlighting and look great against the black bezel. The screen is a beautiful matte finish. It has the slightest micro texture that simulates paper grain perfectly.

The pen is amazing. Even great. This thing is fantastic. A few minutes to fix. This is a different animal altogether.

Cons

The educational discount is negligible. Wacom is either guilty of chicanery or poor quality control. Isn't that scummy and some form of malpractice?

Once you are out of warranty their repair costs are absurd and cost more than you could sell the tablet's for.

The pen handles the edges of the screen very well in every app i've tried, and stability is improved.

All in all, i draw on this things daily and it’s a sturdy, responsive, beautiful electronic.

The touch wheel is pretty bad just like i remember form the intuos 4, doing a horrible job at recognizing touch.

Mostly over the screen quality and "rainbow" affect some people complained about.

Price

- sure, but i feel i got great value.

So far i have found nothing to dislike except for the cost.

800$ is much cheaper then 2000$ if you decide art isn't for you.

They “delivered” it to their own facility and i then had to pay for a second delivery.

The seller was courteous & shipped promptly a "new" , not "like new" one that i ordered.

Packaging/appearance

All the cables were neatly packaged and clearly labeled, and i was able to get things running out of the box with no hassle.

And the inner box was not taped nor had any sign that tape was ever used.

Lesson: read tech product descriptions carefully & keep your packaging.

However, the package was merely left on our porch.

Competitiveness

Yes, wacom is way more expensive, but the quality is 100% better in all aspects.

The 4k is better than my 22" m1 imac.

I have only used wacom products in the past so i am not able to give a comparison to other manufacturers' products.

This has the same exact pen lag/cursor delay as all of the other cheap models of other brands i've tried.
