Pros & Cons
Pros
This tablet is the first i have owned and it feels great. I highly recommend this tablet for anyone who has sketched and wants to go digital. It works seamlessly with the software applications i use.
In photoshop, there are some nice brushes that are impacted by the angle of the brush tip as well as the pressure. I'm used to drawing on larger surfaces and larger sized sketch books. The medium sized surface was perfect for my budget and needs.
The center circular tool can be used to turn your photo or painting to whatever angle you need on screen. It can also been used to scroll, cycle layers and to zoom as well. The lcd display is nice as it shows you your shortcuts in different programs. ... Read More
Cons
Wacom intuos4 (small) pen tablet is too small for a small tablet. The pen tips don't last, and the pen captor are very fragile. There is all sorts of wasted space around the perimeter of the active tablet surface.

Be very careful how you handle the tablet with the cord plugged in.
The pen on the other hand, i must add to be very careful with.
Shipping
I wrapped it with shipping tape, and it works very well.
Packaging/appearance
The outer area of the surface looks smooth, shiny and untouched from the nib.
Competitiveness
I have used this for many years, which was finally replaced by a cintiq.
A real upgrade in every aspect from my antique intuos 3.
That, for me, is one failing in these intuos tablets.
I've learned--the expensive way--the difference between large and medium.
