Pros

Wacom is a reputable company, of course, but i had only had their very small version tablet in the past. It works seamlessly with the software applications i use. It always works better when it's plugged in.

The large model feels like moving around a sketch pad having the larger size. The lcd display is nice as it shows you your shortcuts in different programs. Great tool, works together with photoshop to process photos. I love these new shortcut hotkeys ...  Read More

Cons

Main problem with the tablet is it shoddy construction. Pen tips don't last, and worse of all, the pen captor are very fragile. Wacom blames microsoft.

The bluetooth support is the junkiest piece of software i have ever encountered. There are driver problems on russian and ukrainian tablet driver stops working after reboot on win 7, so you have to make some manipulations. A google search for usb sold...  Read More

Stop making nibs out of soft cheddar. Surface is too rough and inconsistently so. There is all sorts of wasted space around the perimeter of the active tablet surface.

It seems to be hit and miss. If i sound * off, it's because i am, thoroughly. That's the sign of a company that's asleep at the switch.

Quality

Bought this one used, the wear is very minimal and consistent with the sellers description.

I've never had issues with the tablet - it works seamlessly with the software applications i use.

Be very careful how you handle the tablet with the cord plugged in.

The pen on the other hand, i must add to be very careful with.

Shipping

I wrapped it with shipping tape, and it works very well.

Packaging/appearance

The outer area of the surface looks smooth, shiny and untouched from the nib.

Competitiveness

I have used this for many years, which was finally replaced by a cintiq.

A real upgrade in every aspect from my antique intuos 3.

That, for me, is one failing in these intuos tablets.

I've learned--the expensive way--the difference between large and medium.

Because it requires a cord to plug in to the usb port of your computer the contacts eventually wore out

Lucky this tablet comes with 2 outputs but in time they will wear out making the contacts loose so it may occasionally disconnect and reconnect interfering with your work

Pro has to 2 outputs on tabletcon contacts become loose overtime after excessive usage

Personally i only used about 6 x 3 of the pressure pad so the rest was of the surface was completely a waste of space
