Pros & Cons
Pros
This is a quality product and the complications i had with it were my fault, not the products. The responsiveness, and professional level of control provided by the wacom driver software is the difference between this tablet and lower cost competitors... Read More
The medium or small intuos allows you to get the same thing done without becoming a literal pain in the neck. The large size is ideal for people who may be coming from a more classically trained art background, who are used to incorporating more full-... Read More
I really like the choice of using the touchpad - relaxes my wrist. Or the stylus which somehow relaxes it even more. It's good to have 2 alternate hand 'postures' to switch between.
Cons
Wacom tablet periodically runs its battery down. If i leave my intuos pro connected to my mac m1 mini when it goes to sleep, it causes a kernel panic (automatic restart of my mac) upon waking.
The bluetooth wireless use is unreliable. I expected the device to work as a large trackpad, however, it does not. The only way you can use this device in mouse mode is to hover the stylus about 1-3 mm above the pad.
Wacom wouldn't sell a product with an aesthetic defect. When you focus on money the quality drops.
Intuos pro m comes with a rough surface that eats through one plastic nib in 3 days. The smooth surface still eats through nibs at an accelerated rate. The planned for wearing of the nibs is shameful.
The software is another area of disappointment. The specifics of which are searchable on the web but not part of any wacom documentation. Support is based in russian and largely unavailable.

Quality
Overall, i love the product and it gives you great control, especially with the pressure sensitivity.
The sensitivity of the pen is impressive and the standard texture that comes with the tablet works for me.

Sometimes i struggle with the bluetooth, it worked fine at one point, so i’m thinking it’s just user error.
Competitiveness
I was holding off and waiting a loooooong time and thought i could live with using a mouse.
I mean very little that it's tolerable, especially compared to the annoyingly laggy xp pen and huion.
Also the pen size matters too (if hands are small then definitely get the small intuos pro).
I either case the current intuos pro requires an additional investment to work properly on a mbp.

I like the pen sensitivity but on linux you wont be able to map buttons or use the touch features easily so i am personally better off with the regular intuos

Worst thing is how quick the nibs wear out even with a soft texture sheet over top it still burns through and i have this tablet put aside for who knows when as i use my intuos m as the preferred tablet
