Pros

With the smooth, the standard plastic nibs fly on it and gives just the right amount of friction without the scratchiness. It helps not waste your nibs in hours.

Drawing quality is superb. In comparison to my standard sheet that came with the intuos pro, my pen glides so much easier.

Cons

Wacom is not a piece of paper, nor should it be trying to appeal to hobbyists looking for some goofy paper-like novelty. It's highly suspicious that the inclusion of the rough sheet by default helps wacom sell more nibs. I have a bent plastic sheet th...  Read More

Quality

The smooth texture allows the pen to glide across the surface effortlessly for a clean line.

With the smooth, the standard plastic nibs fly on it and gives just the right amount of friction without the "scratchiness".

The removal tool provided isn’t very useful - gently peel the old surface in the corner with something sharp like a razor.

After using wacom intuos products in the past, the latest wacom paper comes with a rougher texture than anyone would want.

Price

Thank you for the great price value and low shipping cost!

That's kind of a bummer given the price.

The price is a shame, the directions are nonexistent, but the product is solid.

Shipping

Delivery was fast and the application was easier than expected.

Two days later, the package shipped and i ripped open the manilla shipping envelope to take it for a spin.

Competitiveness

I wish it had come as a default or even an option when purchasing the intuos pro, instead of an add-on.

There are no comparable off-brands of this product, and i frankly feel that it is absolutely necessary to use the wacom paper at all.

This is a very similar texture to the 'original' wacom textures that you are probably used to.

Before writing this review i went ahead and compared the surfaces of my old intuos 4 5 with the current intuos pro with the smooth sheet thrown on it

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

As far as 34tooth34 goes there is no real discernable difference between the unworn texture in the corners of my old intuos 4 5 and the intuos pro smooth sheet

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

Nib wear on the smooth sheet has turned out to be basically identical to the intuos 4 5

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

Which is surprising considering the pro pen 2 uses a nib roughly half the diameter of the old grip pen for some reason

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

Usually thinner material quicker wear so im not really sure how thats turned out to be the same as well

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

One thing ive noticed is that the current intuos pro sheets have a bit more of a 34rubbery34 quality in terms of drag feel

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

Almost like a layer of hard rubber compound rather than a sheet of hard plastic

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

Its a subtle difference in feel but its there
