The float valve does a good job of preventing water from entering the snorkel. The purge valve below the mouthpiece is also a silicone membrane. The flap on the top really does work and no water leaks in.

This snorkel is awesome! Works really well for lap swimming. Worked perfectly. Works and fits as described.

Stretchable neck makes it easy to configure the snorkel to fit in your mouth comfortably. Bite is soft and supple compared to others on the market. Only problem is an unpleasant smell/odor that gets in my mouth when i wear it.

Cons

Very thin and flimsy plastic. It leaks and the ball or float gets stuck. Would not recommend would not buy again.
