The quick is located just beyond the pulp. If you try to take off too much at once it heats up the nail. I wish i had bought these straight away rather than getting a different usb charger operated nail file which simply didn't have enough power/grit.... Read More

Cons

Both dogs are terrified of this - it's very noisy and the top spins so quickly, it's an almost impossible job to get it and the paw stable at the same time. I have the corded wahl which is super powerful but also noisy and vibrates too much.

Do not buy it, rubbish. Not happy atall. Had to return it and get a refund. My expectation is that wahl would have enough respect for its customers to rectify this.
