Bought another for myself hoping for different results as i liked the shape and ease of use so much but after several months same thing

Took apart the first one and found that it is the way the charging receptacle on the trimmer is connected to the pcb electronics board inside the trimmer

Every time you plug it in to charge the force pulls the receptacle pins away from the pcb eventually causing it to fail
