Pros

The wahls cutter comes with a uk mains plug. This gives it a bit more power than others that are cordless. The blades are very easy to add on and the blade attachment combs are made of stainless steel.

The online video link is quite good and gives you an idea of how to groom a dog. It is easy to control and manoeuvre through the hair. It's a much cheaper alternative to paying groomers.

The wahl dog clipper is great for my westie. The cable is 3 meters long so that should be enough for any size dog. It also pivots around as you are twisting it. Great clippers for my double coated collie and english cocker spaniel.

The unit makes a low hum when on and does vibrate a fair amount especially on thick hair.

Cons

Really good quality clippers and comes in a handy carry case too

Quality of product is great and the build quality feels great.

On receipt of the clippers i was immediately impressed by the quality of build, weight and perceived robustness of the item.

But did struggle slightly with the russian.

Packaging/appearance

It isn't cordless so for beginners its best used with an assistant who can get the cord out of the way.

Competitiveness

As with all these clippers, keeping the blades oil can be a bit of a faff.

This is a much more professional piece of kit and performs significantly better than the cheaper models (as you'd expect).

Will be buying diffrent size blades for diffrent cut lenghs insted of guards just my preferance.
