The wahl trimmer is a cordless dog grooming clipper. It runs quiet enough not to bother my pup. Perfect for trimming my papillon's paws.

Drugstore battery spares are easy to pack, or even buy locally. It works great for that. Oddly, had to buy a second one for my husband's back hair.
