Pros
Was very pleased with the ease to trim my yorkie. Long-haired maine * cat that occasionally gets deeply matted fur on his underside. Much safer and easier to use than (heaven forbid) scissors or regular electric clippers.
Cons
The original batteries completely clocked out. Maybe it’s a mechanical issue with the clippers or the battery charger isn’t working as it should. Battery takes a long time to fully charge.

However he only ever got matted fur occasionally maybe once every few months and the problem is if you dont continue charging both batteries that this shaver comes with all the time they can wind up losing their charge completely which is a pain

I guess its designed for professional animal groomers for work so the convenience of the rechargeable batteries is actually kind of a drawback if you dont regularly have to cut your pets hair

Also its technically not 100 safe there was at least one time that i accidentally nicked my cats skin while cutting so you do still have to be careful particularly if your pet has loose skin

I accidentally dropped it on the ground just the other day about 5 feet or so and the head of the clipper broke right off

It turns out that the metal shaver at the top is held together by some relatively thin pieces of plastic that broke when i had dropped it possibly due to the faux weights that they added to make the shaver feel like a premium product

Again dropping is my own fault though i would say that the shaver perhaps isnt quite as sturdy as the high price tag might lead you to believe
