This stand is nice because it is not so elaborate (as beautiful as the elaborate ones are - it takes away from the sword itself).

Our sword is a bit shorter than most a little longer than shoulder width if you had a really long one it might knock this stand off balance

When i opened it it looked a bit beat up and tacky but then i realized there is a protective film over the stands parts they just peel off
