This item is perfect for a throwing device on board and will work great in the e ent of emergency situation which hopefully never happens.
The rope will unfurl from the bag itself, and you pull the person grabbing the rope towards you.
Now i will say that while preparing and inspecting before the first throw, i found a significant knot in the middle of the rope.

It looked like an intentional somebody tied it kind of knot not just tangled up kind of knot

The 98ft rope would be more suitable for shore rescues using anchor points or multi person techniques where extra length is needed
