They are more chalky and matt finish, and i will say, building up black is a little more tricky as it kept drying down to a brown.

I love that it comes in a little case so you can take it anywhere.
It's a present for my granddaughter, so i haven't opened it yet, so hope that it is what it says on the package

You can not use your fingers to remove it you would need to use a pen or something to remove it
