Yes i did know a few things about this battle like blucher turning up late and swinging the battle in wellington’s favour and the charge by the scots greys but until reading this superb book i had no idea really what happened

Truly horrific shame the british french and germans had to go through the same thing again on a much larger scale 100 years later

I’ve both read and listened audible to this book many times and feels like you’re standing at this sidelines looking in on what may be considered a “glorious” day unless of course you were there then i doubt that there was anything glorious about it

Hardack editions can usually be found for little more and sometimes even less expensive than either the paperback or ebook
