Waterpik has a new model comparable to the panasonic collapsible but for twice the price. This model is an all around improvement from the wf-13 cordless pearl i originally had.

I understand that lots of people use it in the shower, which is an ingenious idea! My teeth and gums feel great!

This cordless model is much more convenient than the typical stationary ones. It is comfortable portable, you just add the water right into the water pik. Prevents accidental power on when packing in a suitcase for travel.

Once you become proficient at using it the reservoir is more than enough for single use. It's easy to fill and a charge lasts for several uses.

The controls are the on-off button is next to the hi-med-lo button. This isn't as powerful as the plug-in versions, so it didn't clean as deeply. Probably would be about as easy to pack and would work much better.
