If for some reason your shower stub is not centered into the tubshower basin the only way to change the horizontal aim of this is to swivel it at the water stub coming out of the wall

Not a dealbreaker as this does have a rubber gasket and doesnt require any plumbing tape so there is some play to be had before it start spouting water
