We have had this for one day and have to resist the urge to keep showering!
Current system requires moving a lever from one side of the shower head to the other; water flow is reduced but not stopped.

Have 3 m attached holder attach hose directly to water supply

It is however a little difficult to take off the bracket and would be heavy for an older senior to hold
