Pros & Cons
Pros
Unit seems to be well designed and built, just hope it lasts. It is quieter than prior units. I would definitely i rely purchase this again when the time comes.
It gets in there and banishes debris from hidden nooks crannies and crevices all down the gum line. It is so powerful that i need to lower the setting around my front teeth to protect my tender gums. Must have for crowns and bridges.
The hose part curls back up and has a slot. The clear reservoir is easier to see how much salt to add for nasal use. You can flip over the tank to cover the whole base after each use, for a better drying.
Cons
The force setting on the wand is apparently only a suggestion to the unit. The handle with the tip is difficult to maneuver. There is no lid on the water tank so if you're not careful, it will spill.
Highlights
Quality
The cord and tubing are well managed and there is storage for two heads.
Been using 1 of these for over 10 years now, easy way to clean tight spots between teeth.
The reservoir capacity, less than 1/2 of the waterpik classic i opened is made so cheaply, like a not great toy.
At the most, i have only gotten about 2 years out of them and then they died.
Price
I only gave it a 3 for value b/c these units were in the $40 range and now close to $70.
Packaging/appearance
The waterpick flosser came with 2 water "cups" which i did not expect.
