Pros
The catalyst is better engineered and there are no issues with the gasket. There is a clever way catalyst allows you to turn the silent mode switch on and off.
Waterproof durable well made case. Love the dial knob to easily switch my phone from silent to ring. Rubber plug for the charge port is sometimes a struggle to get out.
Cons
Worst phone case ever. What a joke for this price. Charging port is too small and doesn't ’t fit apple charging cable.

The color problem i also have the ipad mini case in red

Whatever the difference is between the materials used for the iphone and the ipad the red is still super vibrant on the ipad case but the iphone case is dingy and has a lot of black scuffs all over it that can’t be cleaned off

I drop both devices all the time because i have a tremor disorder that’s kind of unpredictable i started using superprotective cases after my first ipad died a tragic death about two months into its short life when i dropped it face down on a tile floor so i don’t think that it’s the difference between how frequently they’re dropped or bumped against something

But as noted by lots of other reviewers it’s hard to keep track of the plug because it falls off so easily
