Pros

Opret rain poncho is a pretty handy item to have in your kit. It's light, compact and fits into a neat little pouch that comes included. The carry pocket is handy for storage.

Can be used as a groundsheet or tarp/rainfly. Best of all, it is actually waterproof. There are grommets on each corner which add to the practicality of having this on an outdoor camping trip or somthing along that line.

Muy bonito poncho. Will always bring this on my top load. Needless to say, there are times when an umbrlla just isn't enough.

This is perfect for trail hikers as you can put it over a large backpack and still be covered. The poncho is big enough that it will cover a medium size backpack as well. I'm plus sized (2-3x) and there is plenty of room to get my entire body covered....  Read More

This is a long poncho so it will keep you covered from head to partially down over your legs. Your legs are still pretty much exposed, but moreso from the front. It is long enough to cover well and protect against driving rain and road spray.

Cons

Not being completely waterproof. Water seeps in after awhile.

Arm holes are a plus totally water proof

It's very slick, and made out of windbreaker material, so the rain will just slide off of you and onto the ground.

Competitiveness

But it's not nearly as stylish and it's bulky enough that you probably won't want to wear it for prolonged activities.
