Hardware is included and the poe functions nicely as soon as you plug in an ethernet cable.

Very simple to install and you don't have to do anything special with the pi.

I would not put this in a case unless there is a vent for the fan.

Need active cooling for cased pi4 anyway, so nice to get rid of an extra cable.
