Pros
It carries a good deal of functionality with a much smaller footprint & at pennies on the dollar. If you don't need the full functionality of a raspberry pi or pico, this is perfect.

The clamp is a tiny bit of plastic that can be easily broken if you are not careful.
These things happen, but it did illustrate that the clamps are somewhat fragile.
Competitiveness
First of all this is small even compared to the d1mini.
I also have any number of raspberry pis around the house serving as a dns server, ad blocker, and vpn server.

Depending on your application you may want to put a drop of nonconductive epoxy over the clamps to permanently secure them in place
