Pros
Reviewer says inserting a music cd starts up the built-in music app. Inserting a dvd into the drive fires up the macos dvd_player app automatically. This drive works well for writing onto recordable cd or dvd media.
Was very happy on the portability with having a built in cable. I like the cable storage design, it saves room. The *only* thing i wish were different is that the cord is permanently attached.
Cons
Dvd burner is *. It gives writing error and renders the cd unusable in windows 11. You can hear the disk getting stuck; it makes a clicking sound and will not turn.

Right from the getgo installed a version of office 2007 and then burned a dvd with some old 8mm film turned digital with a converter projector and music added

Worked but the usb cord is way too short only 8 inches

The drive works with windows 11 which is what i needed but its really inconvenient that it has to be plugged directly into the computer it wont work with a hub or extension

If the cord were longer it wouldnt be an issue but its the standard 934 for this type of unit
