The drive is unusable at this point. They know they make a terrible product they couldn’t possibly pay for everyone’s file restoration.
Wd stopped honoring the warranty after one and a half years. Going to take a sledgehammer to it and try another brand.

One thing that is not at all a deal breaker but kind of frustrating is that after using lightly only a handful of times one of the four rubber grippers on the corner of the bottom fell off
