I've had this a while now as a backup drive on my computer for longer term storage and i'm very impressed.
First class product can't fault it at all work very well.

Excellent hdd which im using in a drobo backup system
Got it as a replacement for my older 500gb hdd.
Only gripe was no screws were provided, so i had to pay maplins prices for some.
Bought in conjunction with a cit 3.

I should be giving this review 1 star because when i got the drive i plugged it in and it started screaming then died

It failed the test which i expected so i contacted wd and they sent me a new drive the next day and had another courier at my door collecting the bust drive
